Great Adventure Novel: Deep Storm

I just switched to graveyard shift, and have been tearing through book after book in an effort to fill the empty hours in the middle of the night (on my days off) as I’m getting used to the schedule change.

Amber suggested this book by Lincoln Child to me.  She had just finished it and said it was a fantastic page turner.  I dove right in and found that I could not put it down!  I devoured this book in a couple days.  I just couldn’t wait to see what happened next.  The plot and background (science/military) read like something out of Clive Cussler’s books.  In fact, I wouldn’t have been surprised if  Dirk Pitt and Al Giordino had made a cameo in the corridors of the Deep Storm research station.

Child even serves up a little bit of a surprise when the saboteur was revealed.  Both Amber and I had guessed the wrong way.

It was a delight to read this book and I look forward to more from this author.
